Ebru
Ebru is a ancient Turkish art form and can be described as marbling paper, but shapes and nature can be portrayed in this delicate art form. In the mid seventeenth century it was known as "Turkish paper or Turkish marble paper." Today the desire for the traditional tools is still held.Water and Carregean are blended to make a thick liquid. Then it is poured in a tray and powdered paints are mixed with ox gall. Then you sprinkle paint on the top of the liquid and use tools to make designs and patterns.When your finished, lay the paper on top of the tray andslide th paper against the edge.
